I can't believe it's not Butter Chicken

  • 1 onion, Halved
  • 500 grams chicken breast, Diced

  • 250ml chicken stock liquid
  • 400g diced tomatoes, Canned
  • 1/2 cup dried red lentils
  • 60 grams light cream

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Add onion and chop 3sec/speed 5. Scrape bowl down.

    2. Add oil and saute 3min/Varoma/speed 1.

    3. Add chicken and cook 5mins/100deg/Counter-clockwise operation/Gentle stir setting.

    4. Add Tandoori Paste and combine 5secs/Counter-clockwise operation/Gentle stir setting.

    5. Add stock, tomatoes & lentils and cook 17mins/100deg/Counter-clockwise operation/Gentle stir setting.

    6. Add cream & salt & pepper & cook for a further 1min/100deg/Counter-clockwise operation/Gentle stir setting.
