      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Dust Lamb with flour in plastic bag, remove from bag.
    Heat a fry pan and brown meat evenly on all sides Set meat aside

    Place 40g olive oil, celery, carrot, onion and garlic in bowl on tm6.
    Start high temp.
    Chop 3 secs, speed 5
    Transfer to a bowl.

    Add blade cover to bowl.
    Add white wine, reserved lamb, and vegetables, apple banana, chutney ,chicken stock and curry powder. Add enough water to cover meat.
    Cook 2 mins/100°c @speed 1.

    Place simmering basket instead of measuring cup on top of bowl lid and slow cook for 4hrs or until lamb is tender.
    Place in thermo server. While you make mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.
