Lamb Kofta Meatballs

  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/2 --- brown onion, peeled
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 500 grams lamb mince
  • 6 sprigs flat leaf parsley
  • 1 tbsp ground corriander
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2-1 tbsp vegie stock paste

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Place Garlic and onion into bowl 5sec/speed5, add oil and sautee 3mins/100C/speed2
  2. Add parsley chop 5sec/speed5
  3. add rest of ingredients mix 10sec/speed5 or until mixed well
  4. Shape a tablespoon of mince into meatballs, place on oiled Varoma dish and tray.
    add 500gms water to bowl, place varoma into postion and steam 15mins/varoma/speed 2
  5. Serve in pita bread with salad greens and tzatziki (or hommus) or on a bed of spiced cous cous topped with tzatziki/hommus

Tip

You can brown on BBQ or grill
form meatballs into oval and place onto a skewer for lamb koftas
place into mini muffin pan and cook in oven until brown and cooked through
serve at parties for an easy snack
