Meatballs, Indian Style

Ingredients

4 portion(s)

Meat Balls

  • 1 onion, Peeled and halved
  • 2 cloves garlic, Peeled
  • 50 grams sultanas
  • 750 grams Mince Meat, beef, lamb or kangaroo
  • 30 grams Hard Cheese, Cubed, very small
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin, more or less to taste
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place onion and garlic in thermomix one sp 3 for 5 seconds

  2. Add remaining indredients and mix Counter-clockwise operation sp 4 until well mixed approximately 20 seconds

  3. Form into required size balls. Small for bbq/finger food, larger for main meal

  4. Grill on the bbq or bake in the oven for approximately 15-20 minutes, turning once when 3/4 of the way through time.

Tip

Adjust the seasoning, sultanas and cheese to suit your tastes.

These can be served on their own or with your favourite sauce/chutney

Great fingerfood for paries and bbqs

If making large meat balls, you may wish to saute the onion and garlic.
