For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Chop onion in half. Place the onion and garlic (peeled) into the mixing bowl.
4 seconds, speed 7 to chop the ingredients. - add in the remaining ingredients.
- Mix on Speed 3 for 15 seconds (or until all combined).
- Then use a spoon to take out desired amount for each rissole to create individual rissole balls on a plate.
- Cook rissolves using frypan.

Tip
Use the curry powder to add a little spice.
To make Chilli rissoles - add 1 teaspoon of chilli flakes.
