Recipe's preparation

    Mixing
  1. Add all ingredients (BUT NOT THE BUTTER) into your thermomix (this works for TM5 OR TM31 (and maybe TM21)).

    BLEND everything together for 10 seconds/speed 8.

    Scrape sides of bowl.

Then IF NEEDED blend for a further 10 seconds. use spatula through lid hole to assist in mixing if needed.

Your mixture should be well combined and wet.

Then melt butter in a decent pan on your stove, wet your hands with WATER and make palm sized patties.

Place in the pan and cook ( be generous with the butter - it's good for you).

When they are brown on both sides (about 5 mins each side) they will be done. Use a medium heat (if using hot-flip often).

Serve with a yummy salad or eat alone. Hot or cold. These are delicious!

  • These were OK. For me they

These were OK. For me they burnt a bit while cooking and I gather this was due to the added honey. I think I will still search for a better recipe.

  • The family and I enjoyed

The family and I enjoyed them.

After reading previous comments I did add in @30g almond meal and found the consistency perfect.

It would've been even better had I put in some grated carrot too. Otherwise, Great recipe, thanks  tmrc_emoticons.;)

  • The mixture had lovely

    Submitted by hellie on 15. July 2015 - 17:12.

The mixture had lovely flavours, but I did add some spicy herb salt to it. Unfortunately the patties didn't hold together whilst cooking as the mixture was too moist. I tried cooking a smaller pattie, and it seemed to stay together better. I kept half of the mixture and have added 3 tablespoons of almond meal to it.. hopefully that will hold it together

  • hello I tried this today and

    Submitted by Littlewooee on 1. January 2015 - 23:32.

hello I tried this today and the mixture was too wet so I ended up turning it into a tomato based pasta sauce. The pork had a great flavour though so I will attempt again. What does a portion of egg equal? One egg? Thanks
