  • 1 long red chilli
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 100 g lemon juice
  • 50 g olive oil
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp dried oregano
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ground black pepper

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Prepare
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 200 deg.
    2. Butterfly chicken breasts.
    3. Score chicken breasts.
    4. Place in ovenproof dish.
  2. Marinade
  3. 1. Place chilli and garlic in bowl - 3 sec / spe 7.
    2. Add remaining marinade ingredients - 7 sec / spe 3.
  4. Chicken
  5. 1. Pour all marinade over chicken.
    4. Oven for 40 min, turning once.

Tip

Served with scalloped potato and rocket, cucumber and red onion salad in picture.

Double recipe to serve four.

Marinate chicken for six hours prior in refrigerator for more developed flavour (not necessary).

    Didnt quite look like the photo but was still delicious. I used coconut sugar instead of brown sugar and the one large chilli didnt overpower the dish and was suprisingly mild but gave it great colour. Will definitely make this again
