Tip

Also great with mashed potato or pasta.

Grate other veggies into the mix and hide from the kids - great way to get them in without them knowing.

This is great for kids as it is not spicy.

A great simple dish to please everyone and easy to hide veggies in the sauce. I used rump steak and grated carrot and zucchini with no peas which I know would be a game changer for the kids. Will definitely do this one again.

    Submitted by superquilter55 on 24. July 2014 - 11:18.

This is a great and easy stroganoff for kids.  Mine are 25 and 15 YEARS old and still fussy.  I added mushrooms instead of peas.  I froze porterhouse steak for about an hour and it was able to be cut in fairly fine strips.  Cooked up beautifully.

Sally your recipes are great - keep them coming.

    Submitted by mellietopaz on 3. June 2014 - 21:30.

Really nice stroganoff perfect for the kids, flavour wasn't too strong. I chopped up carrot and half a zucchini really small beforehand and added it with sour cream as suggested in the tip. Very good sauce to smuggle the veggies for my anti veg 4yr old! Will definately make again and again. Thanks
