      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add onion , garlic and splash oil 3 sec speed 5
    2. Sauté 2min 100 deg sp1
    3. Add sauces, peanut butter, brown sugar mix 10sec spd 2
    4. Add chicken and cook 15min 100 deg Counter-clockwise operation speed 1
    5. Add coconut cream cook 2 min 90 deg Counter-clockwise operation speed 1
    6. Serve with steam rice

    This was quite tasty, not overly peanutty and not too sweet. I only had coconut milk so I had to add some cornflour to thicken the sauce. I’d probably use breast next time though.

    Mine didn’t look anything like the picture and wasn’t very satay tasting and I added Cashews as well!!
