Slender Butter Chicken

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 shallot
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 leaf bay leaf
  • 1 can chopped tomatos
  • 125 grams whole milk
  • 375 grams skim milk
  • 125 grams non fat yogurt
  • 900 grams chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipe's preparation

    To Prepare
  1. 1. Add to thermomix shallot, garlic, onion, ginger, garam masala, cumin, salt and pepper.

    Add MC and chop 5 secs, sp 4.

    Wipe down sides.

  2. 2. Add coconut oil and cook 4mins/varoma//MC off

  3. 3. Add canned tomatos, butter, lemon juice & bay leaf.

    Cook1min/varoma//MC off

  4. 4. Add skim milk, yogurt & whole milk cook 5mins/80 deg//sp1/MC off

  5. 5. Insert butterfly, add chopped chicken, cook 16 mins/100deg//MC on.


  6. 6. Mix cornflour with a small amountof water and mix 2mins/varoma///MC off.

  7. 7. Serve with cauliflower rice and chopped coriander.
