Really easy and really tasty! My teenage daughter thought it was too spicy even though I halved the cayenne, although my husband and I liked the heat level. I used some to marinate tofu for my vegetarian son and it was a huge hit with him -which happens very rarelytmrc_emoticons.)

We really enjoyed this! I did only use half a tsp of ceyanne pepper and to be honest, that was the most i would use again as even that gave off enough heat for the kids to notice haha. Very nice chicken!

Very yummy, the family loved it. Used chicken breast and just stirred it in by hand in a bowl with marinade so would remain in cubes. Made marinade in thermomix with real garlic and dried chilli. A bit salty, will cut down salt next time.

  • So do you add a whole lemon?

    Submitted by bemoff on 15. June 2016 - 16:11.

So do you add a whole lemon? confussed about the first step... when it says peels does it mean the skin? But then it mentions lemon zest in ingredients, so does peels mean zest?

I love this recipe! So yummy, but I think we will go with a smaller lemon next time as it was overpowering.

    Submitted by Judgey on 13. April 2015 - 09:02.

We gave this a crack last night and it went down a treat with the boys. We only used 1 teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper but nexttime will step it up to two for that good heat blast.

    Cheers Cooking 2
