  • 3 cm ginger
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 50 gram EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
  • 1 tsp raw sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 225 g pineapple pieces and juice
  • 1 red capsicum, chopped
  • 1 roma tomato, chopped

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add ginger, garlic and onion to mixing bowl

    Chop for 2 secs speed 6

    Add oil

    Sauté for 3 mins Varoma speed 1

    Add sugar, pork cubesCook 4 mins Varoma Counter-clockwise operation 1

    Add 1 tbsp soy sauce, pineapple pieces and juice, capsicum and tomato

    Cook further 9 mins 100deg C onCounter-clockwise operation  1

    Serve with rice or steamed vegetables.

    Nice flavours but it really needed a thicker sauce. Very watery. Cornflour might help??
