Recipe's preparation

    Toad in the Hole
  1. Place onion into mixing bowl and chop 5 sec/speed 7.  Set aside.  Clean and dry mixing bowl.

    2.  Place sausages into large baking dish.  Prick sausages on both sides to let fat out. Place in hot oven 200c for 20 minutes, turning over after 10 minutes.  While sausages are cooking make batter.

    3.  Place eggs, milk, salt and flour into mixing bowl and mix 30 sec/speed 7. Allow to rest for 10 minutes.  Add cold water through hole in lid and beat 30 sec/speed 7.

    4.  Drain off most of the fat from sausages.  Place sausages in baking tray, evenly spaced.  Sprinkle onion evenly over  sausages, then pour batter quickly into hot baking dish and place into hot oven.

    5.  Cook for 20-25 minutes (depending on how hot your oven is) until puffy and browned. Remove and serve immediately. Serve with tomato sauce and vegetables of choice.

  • Made with gluten free flour -

Made with gluten free flour - awesome, couldn't even tell it was GF. I pan fried sausages to speed it up and chopped them through the mix (1/3 sausage in each muffin tin).
