YIAHfied Beef/Chicken Stroganoff

Beef option

  • 700 grams rib fillet, cut into strips

Chicken option

  • 600 grams chicken, thin strips

Sauce

  • 30 grams Butter
  • 1 onion brown, diced
  • 1 Clove garlic peeled
  • 300 grams mushrooms, sliced
  • 70 grams tomato paste, (everyday cookbook)
  • 70 grams red wine
  • 1 tablespoon beef stock paste, (everyday cookbook)
  • 2 tablespoons Corn Flour, gluten free
  • 2 tablespoon YIAH Stroganoff spice
  • 300 grams sour cream
  • 1 pinch YIAH Porcini salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

rice

  • 1000 grams water
  • 1 teaspoon YIAH Porcini salt
  • 20 grams YIAH Intense Garlic EVOO

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Rice
  1. Place water, salt, olive oil, into TM bowl. Insert simmer basket, weigh rice into it and cook 20min/100degrees/speed4. Transfer rice into thermo server while cooking Strogaoff. Clean TM bowl.

  2. Stroganoff
  3. Place quartered and peeled onion and garlic into TM bowl and chop for 3 seconds/speed 6. Scrape down sides of bowl.

     

    Add butter and YIAH Stroganoff spice and saute for 3 minutes/100 degrees/speed 1.

     

    Add desired meat, Beef or Chicken to the TM bowl. Cook for 5 minutes/100 degrees/ reverseCounter-clockwise operation on soft speedGentle stir setting.

     

    Add all remaining ingredients excep sour cream and cook for 10 minutes /100 degrees/reverse Counter-clockwise operation /speed 1. Sit TM basket on top to avoid splatter.

    Add sour cream and cook for 3 minutes /100 degrees/reverse Counter-clockwise operation /speed 1, placing simmer basket on top to avoid splatter.

    Let sit for 5 minutes before serving with the rice.
