Eggs were gritty and dry and had that over cooked egg water.12 minutes is far to long on 90 degrees.

This recipe didn't work for me. The eggs stuck to the bottom of the bowl and butterfly. So I ended up spending a lot of time scrubbing it off. I didn't like the texture of the eggs. It was like cottage cheese and overcooked.

Submitted by katy beasley on 28. July 2016 - 10:06.

I've cooked 3 eggs at a time (for one person) and timed it for 9 minutes and used no butterfly.

I finished the last 30 seconds-odd watching so it didn't overcook and create the liquid.Perfect!

Not a fan of this recipe, but I suspect it wouldn't be okay in a TM no matter what method one used. Horrible texture! I think I'll keep my eggs in a frying pan

    Submitted by Mackdaddy on 11. September 2015 - 17:31.

DO NOT MAKE THIS.....  Read the reviews below the 4 star reviews that I missed...Eggs over cooked and gritty ... texture awful and the bowl is hard to clean.... You get such better results , quicker cooking times and less mess in a microwave... .

I'll be sticking to the stove or if I want quick eggs... the microwave...... I lie to you not ... this makes aeroplane scambled eggs look gourmet

I thought it was yummy ! First time scrambled eggs in TM loved it, added some grated cheese and some grated butter instead of the cream. Still included the milk. A bit watery but that was easily drained with the basket. Thanks I will be doing this again.

Very easy and tastes great! I prefer mine more creamy so I added 100g of milk which didnt affect the cooking time or consistency. Like everyone else, cleaning the bowl was a pain!

  • I really liked these! I

    Submitted by Rach@Kingy on 23. December 2014 - 05:28.

I really liked these! I accidentally poured 60gms of milk which was a bit more than the recipe but it didn't seem to adversely effect the results.  I will spray the bowl next time for an easier clean. I actually like it better when my scrambled eggs are crumbly as opposed to creamy so these suited me fine but if you like them more wet then do as some others suggested and check after 10mins.

    Submitted by mellyc on 6. June 2014 - 10:25.

Varoma is way too hot, causing the eggs to stick.  I did 8 eggs, left out the milk and cooked for 10 mins/90 degrees/sp 2.  I would recommend checking after this as we like our eggs slightly undercooked.  Clean up wasn't so bad, the same as any non-stick pan.

I won't be making these again in the TM. The texture was very gritty and not at all smooth or creamy. Even with cream. The bowl was a nightmare to clean as well!
