If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

  • Hi Sorry I just saw your comment! I just wilted it...

Hi Sorry I just saw your comment! I just wilted it with no water as the spinach is watery in the bowl on Varoma Temperature not the Varoma. Then it cooks further in the oven. Hope this helps.

    Thank you  from Thermomishes

    Hi,

I'm pretty new to using my varoma.  I presume when we wilt the spinach we neAlsoed to put water into the bowl.

Also I found 3 minutes wasnt long enough?  I had to go for at least 5 mins with 400g water.  Does that sound about right?

    cheers

    Hildz
