Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

  6. Add drained lentils, coconut cream, chickpeas, stock, water and tomatoes then cook for 20mins/100c/reverse sp .5 (hello spare time!).
  7. If you have a thermoserver, place spinach into the bowl and cover with dahl mixture and let sit for 5 minutes then stir, otherwise stir spinach through the dahl mixture whilst still and down and spinach as wilted.
  8. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then serve on a bed of rice or steamed broccoli.

If heat is an issue, only use the 1 tablespoon of curry paste (I find this is the perfect heat for my little ones). If you enjoy a little more spice go for the full 2 tablespoons.
