  • This dish is my new favourite

Submitted by Karra OB on 20. November 2015 - 20:43.

This dish is my new favourite Thermo meal. It is sooooo tasty - my one year old had two servings.

I added zucchini in step 2. I also added a red capsicum to increase veggie load. I cooked for an extra 5 mins and took the measuring cup off so it would thicken further.

  • This is my favourite rissotto

    Submitted by taniabusby on 4. March 2015 - 08:08.

This is my favourite rissotto by far. The only modification I make is I leave the chorizto in pieces not blitz it up at all as my husbands likes it chunky. Great flavours, fast and easy to make. The whole family loves it.

  • We have just had this for

    Submitted by Mingasmokey on 12. January 2015 - 20:19.

We have just had this for dinner, my husband wasn't too excited to be having Risotto as he's not a big fan, but I had some roast chicken I needed to use up. Final diagnoses by hubby was, that's the best risotto you've made so far

We love this recipe.  Our favourite 'go to' when we don't know what to cook and don't have much time!  I have omitted anchovies, used bacon instead of chorizo and added sundried tomatoes at various times.  All awesome combinations!

  • The only risotto I have ever

    Submitted by emilynamnik on 20. March 2014 - 02:10.

The only risotto I have ever LOVED! So much flavour, straight to the favourites collection. I omitted the anchovies and other than that followed the method exactly (no butterfly) and it was perfect.

I am opposite. I haven't made a risotto with a butterfly lol. I make this often as recipe says (minus anchovies). And have had no problems. You must try it, delicious

    Submitted by Amie82 on 19. December 2013 - 13:39.

Just wondering, I am new to thermomix adventures!  Other very similar recipes use the butterfly to cook risottos but I notice you haven't added the butterfly.  Am I supposed to do it without it or with it?  What did everyone else do when they made this recipe?  It looks very yummy so I want to get it right!
