3 Cheese Macaroni sauce

  • 150 g Cheddar cheese
  • 150 g Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 50 g Butter
  • 70 g plain flour
  • 600 g full cream milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprkia to garnish

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1.Cook pasta on stovetop according to packet directions. While it is cooking move on to making the sauce
    2. Add 150 g Tasty Cheese or Cheddar cut into cubes
    3. Add 150gm Monterey Jack cheese cut into cubes
    4. Grate 20 sec/speed 7
    5. Add 50 g Butter cut into cubes
    6. Add 70 g plain flour
    7. Add 600 g full cream milk
    8. Cook for 10 min/100°C/speed 4.5
    9. Drain pasta using Varoma dish and transfer to a large serving bowl.
    10. Pour sauce over pasta, season with salt and pepper and mix through.
    11. Garnish with paprika if desired. Enjoy!
