Recipe's preparation

    Pasta

  1. Place water and salt in Thermomix bowl and cook for 14 minutes at 100ºC on speed 1. Alternatively, boil water in a kettle to expedite the process. 

  2. Then add pasta and cook for 8 – 10 minutes at 100°C on REVERSE speed soft.

    Has anyone ever noticed the water boils over?? I put 1200 boiling water and only 300g of pasta and it was so so bclose to going completely over the very edge of the lid!
    The MC was bubbling away.
    It only had been cooking for 4:45 mins

    Easy peasy!! I cooked 200g of spaghetti, kept other amounts the same. Boiled the water first and cooked as per instructions for 8 minutes. Turned out perfectly. Thanks.

    I love that you can boil up the kettle, throw in 1200gms/mls boiling water, set the temp to 100 degrees, pop on the lid, whack it in reverse on soft speed and poke your spaghetti in the top and Bob’s your uncle!
    LOVE cooking pasta this way - soooo easy!

    Doesn’t matter how much spaghetti/pasta you cook. I always use 1200gms boiling water for 10-12 mins depending on pasta used. 👌🏼
