Recipe's preparation
- Weigh the brown rice in steaming basket, then remove. Add 1000 grams of water to the bowl and pop the basket back on top. In a small bowl whisk the eggs. Tear off some baking paper (or a varoma liner) and wet the paper so that it scrunches easily. Place this in the top of the tray and add the whisked egg on top.
Then 15-20 minutes, Varoma, Speed 2. This is depending on how you like your rice cooked and your eggs. In our family we set the dials for two 10 minutes cooking periods, we like the how the eggs are cooked after 10 minutes but the rice needs a little longer. Once cooked set aside in a thermoserver or in a food warmer.
Add carrot and spring onion. Chop 3 secs, Speed 5. Set aside.
Add roughly 280 grams of bacon rashers and chop 4 secs, Speed 5. Add 15 grams of olive oil and cook 6 mins, Varoma, Reverse.
Add in reserved carrots, spring onion, peas and tamari and cook for another 3 mins, Varoma, Reverse.
Add contents to the termoserver and stir through the ingredients with the rice and egg.

Tip
To save on cooking time I usually use water out of my kettle that has just been boiled.
