MEAT SAUCE
- 1 onion, peeled/ quartered
- 2-3 clove garlic
- 20 g olive oil
- 2 carrots, (largish)
- 1 zuchinni, (medium)
- capsicum / mushroom, (if you have them)
- 100 g tomato paste, (or pizza sauce)
- 400 g tomatoes, (fresh, tinned or passata)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable stock concentrate
- Salt and pepper
- 500 g Beef mince
- GF spaghetti

Recipe's preparation

Place onion and garlic in TM bowl - chop 5 sec/ speed 5. Scrape down sides and repeat. Add oil - saute Varoma/ 3 min/ speed 1/ MC off
Add carrots & zuchinni - grate 5 secs/ speed 5. scrape down sides, grate again till quite fine. Saute - Varoma/ 3 mins/ speed 1/ MC off
Add capsicum and mushroom - grate 5 secs/ speed 5
Add tomato paste (or pizza sauce, whatever you are using as a thickener)
Cook - Varoma / 2 mins/ speed 1/ MC off
Add salt, pepper, stock and tomatoes (or tomato passata if using)
Cook - 100 deg/ 5 mins/ soft spoon, MC on
Place mince in steaming basket - Break it up a bit (if its not frozen)
Spoon some sauce over top of mince
Insert basket into TM (with the sauce underneath)
If FRESH - cook 100 deg/ 8 mins/ speed 1
- break up the mince with a fork
- cook further 100 deg/ 8 mins/ speed 1
If FROZEN - cook 100 deg/4 mins/ speed 1
- break up the mince with a fork as best you can
- cook further 100 deg/ 7 mins/ speed 1
- break up again
- cook further 100 deg/ 7 mins/ speed 1
When meat is cooked, tip mince out of basket and into TM bowl with sauce
Stir meat into sauce (till its covered)
Cook further 100 deg/ 4 mins/ Reverse/ soft spoon
Tip it all into a TM Thermo Server until your dried GF spaghetti is cooked and ready to serve
