Ingredients

ThermoKitchen Seasoned Sushi Rice

  • 300 g Sushi Rice, washed well
  • 1000 g water, warm
  • 1 level tbsp sushi vinegar

Seasoning

  • 3 level tbsp sushi vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp white sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Serving Suggestions

  • 20 g Seto Fumi Furikake rice seasoning, (optional)
  • 10 Inari Tofu Pockets, (optional)
  • 50 g sashimi grade tuna, optional

Recipe's preparation

    Sushi Seasoning
  1. Place all the sushi seasoning ingredients in TM bowl. Heat 3min/Varoma/Speed 2.
    Reserve the sushi seasoning to use over the cooked rice.
  2. Sushi Rice
  3. Add water and 1 TBSP vinegar to the TM bowl.
    Place the internal steam basket with rice into TM bowl. Cook 20min/Varoma/ Speed 3.5
    Once TM is finished turn the rice out into a large bowl and pour the sushi seasoning over the rice. Stir gently, and allow the rice to cool.
  4. Serving Suggestions
  5. Inari tofu pocket can be half filled with the seasoned sushi rice for a snack.
    OR
    Add the Seto Fumi Furikake rice seasoning to the rice and form into rice balls.
    OR
    Top the shaped rice with sashimi salmon or tuna for nigiri sushi.
