Anthea's Homemade Mayo

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add Sugar      


    5 sec / Speed 8 


    Use spatula to scrape bowl and loosen sugar at bottom.


    Add Eggs     


    15 sec / Counter-clockwise operation / Sp 2.5


    Again, loosen sugar with spatula


    10 sec / Counter-clockwise operation / sp 3


    Add Milk     


    5 sec / Counter-clockwise operation / sp 5


    2 min / Counter-clockwise operation / sp 2


    While its turning, add the vinegar to the lid to slowly seep into the bowl.  Extend time if necessary.


    10 min / 80 deg / Counter-clockwise operation / sp 2


    Transfer to Jar.  It will thicken more as it cools.

    I love this recipe.! The only change I make is, I only use 60g sugar. Thanks Alivia for sharing Anthea's recipe.
