Recipe's preparation

  1. Add all ingredients into the bowl. Close Closed lid"Closed lid" lid. Use the Blend"Blend" blend mode for one minute. Check consistency and use the Blend"Blend" blend mode for a second time if you'd like a smoother consistency.

1. Chickpeas: rinse chickpeas and put onto a clean tea towel. Roll the chickpeas around to dry, and to loosen off the skins. Remove the skins for an extra smooth consistency.

2. Sumac is a lemony spice, found in the spice section at the supermarket.

3. Hummus is best taste-tested to find your personal perfection. Keep adding lemon, salt, pepper and spices to your liking.

    TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
