      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Preparation
  1. 1. Add all of the ingredients to Closed lid. Process for 10 seconds, speed 5.
    2. Scrape down sides of bowl.
    3. Add another 20g water and process for a further 20 sec speed 6, adding more water and repeating until you've reached the desired consistency.

Tip




1. Use as a dip for vegetables etc, or as a spread or add to pastas, salads etc as a cheese/ricotta replacement. Also use as a base for a tart, such as my Caramelised Onion Tart.
2.
Only half of this quality is needed in my Caramelised Onion Tart. Freeze the other half to use later!
