Chilli Sauce (thermolicious)

Ingredients

3 bottle(s)

Chilli Spread

  • 250 grams med brown onions
  • 60 grams ginger
  • 30 grams garlic, (one whole head)
  • 1000 grams tomatoes
  • 330 grams Chillies, after tops are removed
  • 45 grams sugar, I use raw
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 80 grams apple cider vinegar

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Place onions, ginger, garlic, chilli and tomatoes in TM bowl. Chop on speed 7 for 10 seconds.

  2. Add sugar, salt and vinegar.  Cook for 45 minutes on Varoma temperature, speed 1. Use simmer basket instead of measuring cup to prevent spitting.

  3. Decant into sterilised jars.

Tip

You can substitute capsicum for the chilli, for a delicious tomato sauce.
