Cucumber Rolls with Hommus and Sundried tomato & Capsicum Relish

Cucumber Rolls

  • 2 cucumbers
  • 1 portion Hommus
  • 1 portion Relish

Hommus (Basic Cookbook)


  • 85 g sun dried tomatos
  • 2 roasted red capsicum
  • 100 g water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt or to taste

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Sundried Tomato & Capsicum Relish
  1. Place all ingredients into the mixing bowl and chop 10 secs / Speed 7

    Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula and repeat 10 secs / Speed 7

  3. As per Hommus recipe found in Basic Cookbook p262

  4. Assembly
  5. Using a mandolin Slicer or Vegetable peeler, slice the cucumbers into thin ribbons.

    Lay two pieces on top of each other.

    Scrape a thin amount of the hommus lengthways along the top piece of cucumber.

    Roll up and then add a small dolop of the relish on top of the rolls.
