- 25 grams olive oil

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Cut spring onions into rough 4cm lengths.
Put into"Closed lid"
Chop 3 sec spd 7.
Scrape down sides of bowl.
Repeat and set aside.
Place ginger into bowl, chop 3 sec spd 7. scrape down sides of bowl.
Add olive oil, saute for 2 min Varoma spd 1
Pour ginger/oil mix onto spring onions and mix in salt with a spoon.
Serve a good dollop with your Hainanese chicken.

Yes a clove of garlic would be a great addition though the freshness of the ginger by itself is simple and delish.
