Tip

Chops delicious cooked on the bbq.

Marinade works well with pork fillet, marinate whole fillet for 1-3 hours, slice and cook in hot pan or on bbq.  Serve with sweet potato mash and steamed greens.  (Cook sweet potato in basket with 500g water, 12 minutes, varoma temp, then add varoma dish on top with vegies and cook for a further 8 minutes, varoma temp.  Empty water out of bowl, put cooked sweet potato in TM bowl with splash of milk, butter and salt and mash for 10-15 seonds on speed 4).

ceebuckproviding the ginger is fresh it should be fine for a week or so. Why not just do two portions and freeze one portion in the freezer with the marinade already in it? Just a suggestion....Smile

yep i like this recipe!! Was last minute preps tho and I didnt have ginger, sherry or that char chinese sauce. so i dropped the ginger and swopped the sherry for ginger wine. Then used sweet chilli sauce instead of char sui. Worked gorgeously.Wink

How long can extra marinade last in the fridge? I'm cooking for one so I'll no doubt have some extra.
