  • 100 grams tender cooked peas
  • 1 sprig mint, 3 to 4 leaves
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 40 grams olive oil
  • 40 grams lemon juice, squeezed fresh
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin, ground
  • 1 teaspoon coriander spice, ground
  • 2 tablespoons Tahini Paste, to taste
  • 1 pinch salt, or to taste

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Chop garlic in TM bowl 2 sec/speed 5. Scrap down bowl.

  2. 2. Add remaining ingredients and mix 30 sec/speed 5 or until desired consistency. 

  3. Serve with biscuits or under cooked lamb or felafels.

Tip

You can cook the peas earlier in the varoma if you wish.
