      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Passata
  1. 1. Add 1000g of tomatoes into TM bowl.

    2. Chop 7 seconds/speed 7.

    3. Add another 500g of tomatoes.

    4. Chop 7 seconds/speed 7.

    5. Add oil, basil and salt.

    6. Gentle stir setting20 minutes/100°C/speed 1.

    7. Gentle stir setting1 minute/speed 10 *turning slowly from speed 1 to speed 10.

    8. Pour into sterilised jars to preserve.
