For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Step 1 : Place Red Capsicums tomatoes and chillies in jug Closed lid & Chop 5 seconds, Speed 7 Scrape down sides of bowl ( repeat above step if smaller pieces desired)
Step 2 Add sugar,Apple Cider Vinegar & Replace MC with Steaming Basket while cooking. Cook 30 minutes /Varoma Tempreture / reverse speed "Gentle stir setting" on speed 3
Step 3 : check Jam texture if still runny repeat 5 - 10 more minutes
Step 4 : Pour in Glass jar and let cool before refrigerating
Great as a spread or Dip and on Steaks
