Sweet potato homuss
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 can Chick peas, drained and rinsed
- 1 sweet potato, roasted in the skin until soft. Cooled then peeled.
- 50 g lemon juice
- 40 g tahini
- 10 g olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- salt & pepper, to taste
- Smokey Paprika, sprinkled on top to serve

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. add garlic to "Closed lid" chop 3 seconds speed 7. scrape sides of bowl and repeat.
2. Add chickpeas, sweet potato, lemon juice, tahinia, salt, pepper and Cumin to mixer bowl and mix for 25 seconds on speed 5.
3. scrape down sides of Bowl and repeat until desired consistency is reached
4. serve sprinkled with smokey paprika
