The BEST homemade Poppyseed Salad Dressing EVER!

Ingredients

1 bottle(s)

DRESSING

  • 1/2 --- brown onion, Small
  • 80 grams raw sugar
  • 125 grams white vingar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 10 grams Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons Poppyseeds
  • 1 --- Cup Vegetable Oil

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add onion to mixing bowl and blitz on speed 6 for 3 seconds. Repeat this process until onion is pulp like (about 3 times)

     

    Add raw sugar, white vinegar, salt, mustard and egg. Place MC in lid and blend for 20sec/speed6 until all combined

     

    Remove MC start mixing at speed 3 for 2.5 minutes, gradually add oil in a slow steady stream. Once oil is added, continue blending and add the poppyseeds, continue until all added and combined. 

     

    Can be used immediately! Store in air tight container in fridge. This will keep for months in the fridge, but certainly wont last that long!

    Very nice. I have tweaked it a bit to suit my taste. I omit the egg, add 20g Dijon mustard and use 1 1/2 tablespoons of poppy seeds
