      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. * Place strawberries, maple syrup and chai seeds into TM Bowl and blend sp 9 until jam consistency is obtained - approx 1min. Add water 1tbsp at a time as needed to get things moving.

     

    * Once consistancy is achieved heat 120 degrees, slow stir until jam begins to bubble (5-7min keep and eye on it) Once it reaches this temperature, drop the heat to 90 degrees, 5-7mins (or until the jam has stared to thicken, slow stir.

     

    * Remove from heat and pour immediately into glass jar. Allow to cool completely and then store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
