Recipe's preparation

    AMERICAN BEAN SALAD
  1. Place diced potatoes and carrots into Varoma. Add 1000g of water to TM Bowl, put on lid and set Varoma into place. Steam for 25-30 minutes at Varoma on speed 2, once cooked set aside to cool.

  2. Add diced capiscum, onion and celery to serving bowl. add undrained 4 Bean mix to bowl.

  3. Add cooled Potatoes and carrots to serving bowl, add  salad dressing stir gently  to combine and refrigerate salad. This salad can be eaten straight away, but I find by allowing the Salad a few hours or overnight in the fridge makes it taste even better.

  4. AMERICAN BEAN SALAD DRESSING
  5. Place all dressing ingredients into TM bowl and blend for 8 seconds on speed 8.

Nice salad. Might use half the amount of dressing next time though.

This recipe was my grandmother's, she made the salad for her family when they were growing up. It is a salad we always make at Christmas time and for family get togethers. The recipe has been in our family for over 60 years and we don't know the origins of it.
