Bean Mix
- 400 g tin kidney beans
- 400 g tin Barlotti Beans
- 400 g Roma tomatoes, roughly chopped
- 1 brown onion, halved
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 Fresh Paprika
- 1 Birdseye Chilli
- 30 g olive oil
- 5 g salt
- 5 g raw sugar
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- basil, to garnish

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Add onion, garlic, paprika and chilli to bowl.
Chop 5 sec / sp 5.
Scrape down sides of bowl.
Add oil saute 3 min / 120°C / sp 1.
Insert Butterfly.
Add remaining ingredients beans, tomatoes, paste, salt and sugar.
Cook 15 min / 100°C / sp 1 "Counter-clockwise operation" .
Top with basil leaves to serve.
Drain and rinse beans under cold water.
