      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Nice, easy to make soup which we made just to use up some cabbage.  Good to have the cannellini beans included to add some protein.   I'll make the recipe again trying some of the other variations mentioned below. Thank you for the recipe.

Very nice soup. Like others I Sautéd the onion and garlic first. I didn't have any cabbage so used all zucchini and also added a bay leaf and a bunch of  thyme. I left the beans till last and did not blitz through. Delicious.  Love

Thanks for this great recipe! others have added different ingredients so I thought I would give it a go.  I did not have any zucchinis but used celery and replaced the beans with a can of five bean mix.  Excellent results, so versatile and a very quick lunch for a day that has turned so cold.

Cook off an onion, carrot and some celery for a few minutes first. It gives the soup a base it needs..you can add a little cream at the end to give it a smoother finish!

A nice healthy soup, thanks.  I added a handful of parsley before pureeing to give it a bit more flavour.
