Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients

6 portion(s)

  • 1200 grams chicken broth, Quirky Jo's Chicken stock
  • 1 onion, cut in half
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 400 grams chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 stalks Celery, diced
  • 80 grams frozen peas
  • 220 grams Rice noodles, 1 pk Kan Tong inspiration noodles or similar
  • 1-2 tablespoons Vegetable Stock - EDC
  • salt & pepper, to taste

Recipe's preparation

  1. Chop garlic sp7/2sec

    Add onion chop sp5/2sec

    Add chicken Counter-clockwise operation/sp3/3sec

    Place chicken, garlic, onion mix onto varoma tray

     

    Pour 1200gm chicken broth into bowl and place Varoma with chicken mix on top.  Cook Var/sp3-4/13min.

     

    Place diced carrot & celery into Tm basket and place in Tm bowl.  Cook Var/sp3-4/5min

     

    Add frozen peas to Tm basket Var/sp3-4/2min

     

    Place rice noodles into Thermoserver. 

    Add cooked carrot, celery & peas to Thermoserver.

    Pour chicken broth over vege & noodles in Thermoserver.  Cover with lid.  Noodles will warm through very quickly.

     

    Shred cooked chicken in Tm bowl Counter-clockwise operation/sp4/3sec

    Add shredded chicken to Thermoserver and mix through.

     

    Sprinkle with chopped parsley.

     

    Serve with your favourite crusty bread.

Tip

If you don't have any chicken stock/broth use 3-4 tbs vege stock (EDC) in 1200gm water. 

Any chicken meat is suitable for this delicious soup. 

Add other vegetables that you have on hand.
