Creamy Celery with Potato Soup
- 350 g onion, quartered
- 3 clove garlic
- 500 g celery stalks, chopped
- 15 g olive oil
- 300 g potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1000 g water
- 1 tbsp Stock paste,veg, from basic recipe book

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add onion,garlic & celery to bowl.
Chop 5s/speed 5.
Scrape down sides of bowl - Add olive oil. Saute 5min/speed 2.
- Add Potatoes, stock and water. Also add any seasoning you want at this point.
Cook "Counter-clockwise operation" 50min/varoma/speed1
Replace MC with steam basket on top of thermomix lid. - Add cream if desired, for a creamier finish.
Blend for up to 2min increasing speed slowly till reach speed 10.
Serve Hot
Refrigerate/Freeze leftovers
