Green pea and ham soup

green pea and ham soup

  • 1 ham bone, (I used the left over from my xmas ham)
  • 1 litre water
  • 500 grams fresh or frozen peas
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbs TM vegetable stock concentrate
  • 30 gram olive oil

Recipe's preparation

  1. place ham bone and water into a pot and boil for 1 hour set aside to cool until ham bone is cool enough to handle

  2. put onion into tm bowl and chop at speed 6 for 10-20 seconds, add oil and saute speed 2/ varoma/ 3 minute

    while this is cooking pull meat off bone

  3. Add ham stock, tm stock, frozen peas and ham to cooked onions, cook 80 deg/ speed 4/ 15 min

    then puree 20-30 sec speed 9

Tip

use less stock if you would like a thicker soup
