Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip
You can add any vegetables you wish, especially if kids are eating you can hide them which then becomes the nice thick soup base.
I hide all veges in this soup.. Zucchini, celery etc
Soup Noodles can be found in most supermarkets in the Kosher section. If not available you can use angel hair pasta but will cook alot quicker, so maybe add in the last 10mins of cooking time.
NB This soup is a very thick consistency due to the veges being the base, it is very filling, you can reduce vege and add more water if desired..

Definitely one of our new favourites!!! Easy to hide vegetables!! I hid carrots, (peeled) zucchini and celery stalks... Mr. Uber-fussy had no clue and got himself seconds 😈
Enjoy!

So easy and so tasty, with ingredients you would normally have on hand. Perfect for friends dropping by around lunchtime on a drizzly winter day. Thank you for this recipe!

its quiet a thick soup once you leave in Thermoserver as pasta absorbs liquid so i add extra liquid.

I made this soup this afternoon. I omitted the onion and garlic and added corn and peas and used vermicelli noodles with extra water. This was very yummy.
Thanks again.

I made this for our family - it was excellent, a real hit! I did lightly brown the chicken in a pan beforehand, just for a bit of flavour, and added some leftover roast corn from the night before (by slicing kernels off the cob).

Love this recipe, used
Love this recipe, used tenderloins and cooked for an extra 5 minutes or so. Used rice noodles and will trial risoni next time. Great easy family meal with leftovers galore!!!
Really easy and my kids loved
Really easy and my kids loved it. The chicken did take longer to cook than 13 minutes though - about 20 mins all up. I used veggie paste rather than chicken and vermicelli egg pasta, both worked well.
Quick and easy and quite
Quick and easy and quite filling. I cut chicken breast into thin strips and used ramen noodles added at end for about 4 mins. Next time I will try adding some ginger and chilli but it was tasty as is.

Ok, so I only put in 1L of water, vegetable stock instead of chicken stock, put the chicken into the bowl instead of the Varoma, increased to cook time to 20 mins, weighed in the noodles with 5 mins to go, added a small tin of corn, then took out the chicken and shredded it as per recipe and it was delicious. I did all of this because I didn't read the recipe properly. Goes to show how awesome the Thermomix is hey? Great recipe, I will try and do it properly next time.
Great quick and easy meal.
Great quick and easy meal. Loved it

Made this for dinner tonight
Made this for dinner tonight as im unwell. Taste is great but found the chicken took much longer (20min total) to cook and pasta (angle hair) was no where to be found. Next time i will add the pasta to the bowl with 2 mins left and in reverse.

Just a question in regards to
Just a question in regards to the chicken stock paste. If you havent got the paste already, can you use a chicken stock cube or liquid store brought? and how much of these to equal the 2-3 tablespoons of paste?
