Onion
- 1 --- onion, Quartered
- 2 cloves garlic
- 30 grams olive oil
- 1 bunch Kale, (Leaves only)
- 1000 grams chicken or veggie stock
- 200 grams water
- 300 grams red lentils, rinsed
- 2 --- carrots, diced
- zest of half lemon
- 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes (optional)

Recipe's preparation
Place onion and garlic in the Thermomix bowl and chop for 5 secs on speed 7.
Add oil and cook for 4 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1.
Add the washed kale (leaves only) and chop for 5 secs on speed 5, using the spatula to assist.
Add the stock, water and lentils and carrots. Cook for 25 minutes, reverse "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 1 at 100 degrees.
Add the optional lemon zest and chili flakes, and serve with crusty bread.
