  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 30 grams olive oil
  • 1 bunch Kale, (Leaves only)

  • 1000 grams chicken or veggie stock
  • 200 grams water
  • 300 grams red lentils, rinsed
  • 2 --- carrots, diced
  • zest of half lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes (optional)

Recipe's preparation

    Preparation
  1. Place onion and garlic in the Thermomix bowl and chop for 5 secs on speed 7. 

  2. Add oil and cook for 4 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1. 

  3. Add the washed kale (leaves only) and chop for 5 secs on speed 5, using the spatula to assist. 

  4. Add the stock, water and lentils and carrots. Cook for 25 minutes, reverse Counter-clockwise operation speed 1 at 100 degrees. 

  5. Add the optional lemon zest and chili flakes, and serve with crusty bread.
