Potato and Corn Soup
- 1 onion, peeled and halved
- 20 g olive oil
- 500 g waxy potatoes, peeled and diced
- 500 g water
- 1 tbsp chicken stock paste
- 400 g Milk
- 100 g Pouring Cream
- 410 g tin corn kernels, drained
- 410 g Creamed Corn
Recipe's preparation
1. Chop onion on speed 3 for 7 seconds. Saute for 3 mins, varoma temp, speed "Gentle stir setting"
2. Add potatoes and cook for 3 mins, varoma, "Counter-clockwise operation" speed "Gentle stir setting" . Stir well to loosen potato from base of bowl.
3. Add water and stock on cook 20 mins, varoma temp, "Counter-clockwise operation" speed "Gentle stir setting" with the MC removed and simmering basket on top.
4. Add milk, cream and corns and cook 5 mins, 100C, "Counter-clockwise operation" speed "Gentle stir setting" with the MC removed and simmering basket on top.
Serve and enjoy!

Tip
If you wish to prepare this meal ahead of time, pour soup mixture into Thermoserver after step 3. To reheat, add milk, cream and corns and cook 10 mins, 100C "Counter-clockwise operation" speed "Gentle stir setting"

This soup was really yummy :smile: our family...
This soup was really yummy our family loved it. I found the onion didn't chop very well on speed 3 so had to do that a bit higher than suggested. I had some leftover bbq chicken so put that in serving bowl and poured soup over it to heat thru. Tasted amazing and will definately be making again. Thanks for a great recipe.
