If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

steam pumpkin in varoma or use left over steamed or roast pumpkin - set aside
Add bacon, onion and garlic to TM bowl and chop 7 secs Spd 5
Scrape side of bowl and add olive oil
cook 100 deg 5 min speed 1.5 or 2
scrape sides of bowl and add remaining ingredients including steamed pumpkin
cook 100 deg "Counter-clockwise operation" Spd 2 for 15 mins mc on
slowly blend going from low to spd 9 for 60 secs or until desired consistency achieved
