If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add onion and garlic chop sp7/5sec
- Scrape down sides of bowl.
- 2min/varoma/sp "Counter-clockwise operation" . Add curry powder during this time.
- Add pumpkin, split peas, vegetable stock paste and water.
- Cook 20mins/100 degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" sp1
- Blend soup by gradually increasing speed to 9 (remember soup is hot). Blend at speed 9 for 30 secs.
- Place in thermoserver or serve direct with crusty bread.
- Freezes well and is low calorie.
