Pumpkin Soup
- 600 grams pumpkin, Roughly Cubed: 2-3cm pieces
- 1 Medium Sweet Potato, Roughly Cubed: 2-3cm pieces
- 1/2 onion, Quartered
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Thermomix Veggie Stock Paste
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Add onion and olive oil to thermomix and cook 2min/100°C/sp1 with measuring cup on.
Preheat oven to 200°C. - Put simmering basket into thermomix and add pumpkin. Pour in 500g water. Cook 20min/veroma/sp1 with measuring cup on.
- While thermomix is cooking the pumpkin, put sweet potato on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in oven 20mins or until lightly browned.
- Pour pumpkin, sweet potato and the remaining water (375g) into thermomix and blend 30sec/sp4 with measuring cup on. Repeat if necessary.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook 10min/100°C/sp2.
