      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place garlic and ginger in the thermomix and chop for 3 sec speen 7.

    Scrape dwon sides and add onion and chop for 3 sec speed 7.

    Add oil and cook for 3 min 100 degrees speed 1.

    Add spices and cook for 1 min 100 degrees speed 1.

    Add stock veges and water and cook for 20 min 100 degrees speed 2.

    Blend for 1 min speed 9 taking about 10 seconds to reach speed 9 as the soup os very hot.

    Add coconut milk and mix for 30 sec speed 3.

     

    Serve with sourdough crutons and a drizzle of oiive oil.
