Ingredients

Pistachio, Cranberry and Basil Dip

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 bunch basil, leaves only
  • 130 g pistachios
  • 100 g Cranberries
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 20 g olive oil
  • plain yoghurt if needed

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Chop garlic and basil 3 sec, spd 7

    Add pistachios and cranberries, 10 secs, spd 5.

    Scrape down bowl. 10 secs, spd 5.

    Add cream cheese and olive oil. 10 secs, spd 5.

    If dip is too thick, add yoghurt until desired consistency is reached.

    Serve with plain crackers. I use water crackers.

     

Tip

If a chunkier dip is preferred, reduce the chopping time in steps 2 and 3, and use Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" in step 4

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.     Awesome. I only had 80g of pistachios so I topped up with 50g of almonds. It was delicious! 

    I didn't feel the need to add any yoghurt.  Thank you for the recipe xxx
